Instruction for uses

Surface preparation

·        The subtrate must be sound, clean and free from any deleterious materials such as oil stains, old coating, dust, grease etc.

·        Dampen the dry concrete/plastered surface prior to application of skim coat.

 

Mixing

* Add approximately 10 litters of water to 25kg of Skim Coat.

* Using a high-speed drill mixer to stir the mixure for about 5-10 minutes until a homogeneous, lump free, paste consistency is achieved.

o    លាយជាមួយទឹកស្អាត 10លីត្រ និងម្សៅបៀក 25kg

o    ប្រើប្រាស់ម៉ូទ័រកូរល្បឿនលឿនរយៈពេល 5-10នាទី រហូតដល់ម្សៅបៀកសប់ល្អ។

 

Application

* Using a steel trowel, spread and lay the materials to the required thickness

* For skimming works, it shall bee applied in 2 layers and each layer shall not be more than 3mm thicks.

* Once the materials have been laid, leave to dry. For areas subjected to abnormal draughts, the finished surface should be protected.

Safety precaution

Skim coat thinplast finish is non-flammable. It contains cement powder which, if damp or mixed with water will release alkali that may be harmful to the skin.

In case of contacting with skin or eyes, was off with plenty of water.
